Eric Frickle, one of the owners of The Kitchen Engine has always dreamed of owning his own business. And, he has so many gifts and talents to bring to the table! Eric loves to create and really enjoys serving people. So, when the opportunity of re-opening another Kitchen store in the Flour Mill presented itself, Eric, his wife Nicole and his parents, Dan and Vicky Frickle decided the time was right!

The family quietly opened The Kitchen Engine on August 3, 2006 and it has been an amazing journey since then. Eric and his partners brought an open mind and lots of creativity to this amazing store. Their goal was to furnish all chefs, cooks and wanna be cooks to the very best in kitchen gadgets, cookware and appliances. And, that is exactly what has happened. Soon, The Kitchen Engine was hosting live cooking classes and demos and the customers have responded with tons of enthusiasm. Most customers are lured into the store with delicious aromas of coffee brewing and some treat simmering away on the gas cook top in their new demo kitchen.

Dependable and affordable products make cooking so much easier and fun! There isn’t a day that goes by that a new recipe is discovered and all the instructions and needs to get the job done are revealed. The Kitchen Engine expanded the store to house a state of the art demonstration kitchen and more retail sales area. You can learn how to make salsa in a jiffy or how to cook up Clinkerdagger’s world famous Chicken Dijon.
