Class: Culinary World Tour – Cooking Class for Kids!
Instructor: Jamie Aquino
Description: This vegetarian class is specifically designed for kids between the ages of 9 and 13 that love to be in the kitchen! Your child will experience an afternoon in the kitchen with Jamie as she shows them how to make globally inspired dishes using nutritious ingredients, while also explaining the importance of those ingredients and the roles they play in your child’s growing body!
Kids’ Class Menu:
Greek Falafel Patties, Chinese Kung Pao Tofu Lettuce Wraps, Mexican Calabacitas, and Polynesian Bars made of coconut, mangoes and dates!
Ages 9-13, kids-only class:
Parents please plan on dropping your child off at 12:00pm and picking them up promptly at 2:30pm.
Allergy Warning: some recipes will contain nuts, gluten, soy, and dairy
Safety Requirements: student should be comfortable cooking with a gas stovetop and handling sharp knives and kitchen tools. Liability Release will need to be signed by a parent or legal guardian on Tuesday, August 21.
Class Limit: 10 Class Style: Hands-on* Class Cost: $45 Class time: approx. 1.5 – 2 hours
Note: Classes are all approximately 1 hour to 1 & 1.5 hours unless otherwise noted!
*Presentation Style Classes include: Printed recipes, class-room style instruction with visual screens,
Q & A time, and good-sized samples of food.

*Hands-On Style Classes include: Smaller class size, more personal instruction, actual participation in some of the preparation, printed recipes, Q & A time, and food sampling. Hurry – Classes fill up fast. Please call to register!
