Description: The most valuable tool in the kitchen is your knife! Become acquainted and adept with the most classic and important of chef’s tools, and your time in the kitchen will be transformed. In this hands-on class, you’ll hone basic knife skills and practice the fundamental cuts. You’ll use these knife skills every time you cook! Learn the differences between German and Japanese Cutlery. Learn how to care for, handle, and the different cuts you can make with your knife. Food prep will be a dream! Alex will take you through the basics and history, and then you will get to practice your new skills! Don’t miss this incredible class.
Class Limit: 9 Class Style: Hands-On Class Cost: $49 Class time: approx. 1.5 hours
Note: Classes are all approximately 1 hour to 1 & 1/2 hours unless otherwise noted!
*Presentation Style Classes include: Printed recipes, class-room style instruction with visual screens,
Q & A time, and good-sized samples of food.
