August 23 @ 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Wednesday, August 23 at 4:00 pm at Kendall Yards’ Night Market – 5:00 pm at The Kitchen Engine
Instructor: Jamie Aquino
Description: The farm-to-table concept is nothing new. Our great grandparents called it “everyday life”. It means to eat food grown locally, picked at its peak, and prepared simply. Your food has more nutrition and flavor, and your environmental footprint is smaller. Summer in the Northwest means Farmers Markets filled with delicious food! Fresh picked produce can be compared to little else, and we’ll be using the finest our Spokane Farmers have to offer!
Join Jamie for this unique class that takes place in two locations. First, at the Farmers’ Market where we’ll select in-season, locally grown & made veggies, fruits, cheeses & bread. Then, we meet at The Kitchen Engine classroom where Jamie will teach you how to prepare three simple dishes using everything that was found at the market along with a few pantry ingredients. Every Farm-to-Table class has a unique menu, so it’s never the same class twice! Come to this fun and informative class and get a fresh spin of what’s in! NOTE: If you can only make the classroom portion of this class, you can still sign up. Price remains the same.
