Description: Join Jamie for the first Kendall Yards/Kitchen Engine class of the season! Come experience the first flavors of spring the Pacific Northwest has to offer!
The farm-to-table concept is nothing new. Our great grandparents would call it “everyday life”. It means to eat food grown nearby, picked at its peak, and prepared simply. Your food has more nutrition and your environmental footprint is smaller. This unique class takes place in two locations. First, at the Kendall Yards’ Night Market where we’ll choose locally grown and made veggies, fruits, cheeses & bread. Then, in The Kitchen Engine classroom where you’ll prepare three simple dishes using everything from the market along with a few pantry ingredients. Don’t miss this fun and educational class!
Class Limit: 10 Class Style: Partial Hands on* Class Cost: $49 Class time: approx. 2.5 – 3 hours
Note: Classes are all approximately 1 hour to 1 & 1/2 hours unless otherwise noted!
*Presentation Style Classes include: Printed recipes, class-room style instruction with visual screens,
Q & A time, and good-sized samples of food.
