Late Summer Salads with Kristi Fountain

Class: Late Summer Side Salads

Description: This is the time of year that we find an abundance of fresh and seasonal fruits, vegetables, and herbs at our farmers markets and in our gardens. Join Kristi for a trio of healthy and delicious salads that take full advantage of all that the growing season has to offer—they make great lunches on their own or an excellent accompaniment to grilled fish, meat or poultry. In class, you will enjoy a Couscous Salad with Berries & Feta, Quinoa Tabbouli Salad, and a White Bean Salad with Tomatoes, Garlic and Parmesan. By the end of class, you’ll have the skills and recipes to make them all summer long.

Class limit: 16          Class Style:  Presentation*        Class Cost: $39      Class time: approx. 1.5 hours


Note: Classes are all approximately 1 hour to 1 & 1/2 hours unless otherwise noted!

*Presentation Style Classes include: Printed recipes, class-room style instruction with visual screens,

Q & A time, and good-sized samples of food.

(Please note – there is no hands-on participation in a presentation style class unless otherwise noted!)

*Hands-On Style Classes include:  Smaller class size, more personal instruction, actual participation in some of the preparation, printed recipes, Q & A time, and food sampling. Hurry – Classes fill up fast.  Please call to register!
