Class: Enchiladas and Chilaquiles with Refried Beans and Mexican Rice

Instructor:  Chef Vira Melendez-Redman

Description: Unlock the secrets to creating authentic Mexican cuisine and learn to make your favorite meals with the guidance of Chef Vira!  She enjoys sharing her passion for these south-of-the-border favorites, so you learn wonderful one-of-a-kind tips for making authentic dishes. Learn her family recipes for Enchiladas and Chilaquiles (True Mexican comfort food) paired with Mexican Rice and Refried Beans – Beans like you’ve never had and a surprise as to what you can do with your leftovers. Students will find how truly simple, healthy and economical Mexican cooking can be for your family. In this class you will discover varieties of Enchiladas and Chilaquiles and the techniques you need to kick your cooking up a notch! A Gluten Free Class! 

Class limit: 16         Class Style: Presentation*            Class Cost: $45          Class time: approx. 1.5 – 2 hrs


Note: Classes are all approximately 1 hour to 1 & 1/2 hours unless otherwise noted!

*Presentation Style Classes include: Printed recipes, class-room style instruction with visual screens,

Q & A time, and good-sized samples of food.

(Please note – there is no hands-on participation in a presentation style class unless otherwise noted!)

*Hands-On Style Classes include:  Smaller class size, more personal instruction, actual participation in some of the preparation, printed recipes, Q & A time, and food sampling. Hurry – Classes fill up fast.  Please call to register!
