Class: Cooking with a Multicooker
Instructor: Marilee Kinsella
Description: Is your Multicooker still in its box or are you considering purchasing one? Or maybe you are just intimidated by pressure cooking? Whatever the case, this class is for you! If you are unfamiliar, a Multicooker is a marvelous cooking instrument that is 4 devices in one: Pressure cooker, Rice cooker, Slow cooker and Yogurt maker. Marilee’s focus in this class will be pressure cooking. Just in time for Autumn and the official start of pumpkin spice season, Marilee has created three new recipes for the Multicooker. Starting with dessert, Marilee will demonstrate her recipe for Pumpkin Spice Cheesecake with a sweet cinnamon sour cream topping. It has all the warm flavors associated with Autumn and is delightfully creamy. For dinner Marilee will demonstrate two Indian style dishes: Coconut Chicken Masala, full of warm Garam Masala spices and Basmati Pilaf with shallots and fresh peas. Finally, she will discuss options for making your own Garam Masala spice blend using whole spices at home!
