Gluten Free Pasta Making with Alex Austin

ClassHome-made Pasta Making GLUTEN FREE*

Instructor: Alex Austin

Description: If you love pasta but can’t handle the gluten, this class is for you! Learn the secrets to creating fresh pasta by hand. Learn how to work with gluten free dough and roll it through the pasta roller*. You will also learn how to make stuffed pasta with seasonal toppings to complement your homemade dish. You will learn how to use a variety of extra virgin olive oils to greatly enhance your pasta creations and other foods. Alex will be using Snacktivist Gluten Free Flour. This is a locally made product and you will be receiving a 1lb bag when you attend class!

*We have made every effort to assure this class is gluten free however our kitchen & pasta rollers are also used for many other classes that include gluten. This class is not recommended for anyone with SEVERE allergies to gluten.

Class limit: 10          Class StyleHands-On*         Class Cost: $45           Class time: approx. 1.5 hours


Note: Classes are all approximately 1 hour to 1 & 1.5 hours unless otherwise noted!

*Presentation Style Classes include: Printed recipes, class-room style instruction with visual screens,

Q & A time, and good-sized samples of food.

(Please note – there is no hands-on participation in a presentation style class unless otherwise noted!)

*Hands-On Style Classes include:  Smaller class size, more personal instruction, actual participation in some of the preparation, printed recipes, Q & A time, and food sampling. Hurry – Classes fill up fast.  Please call to register!
