Kids in the Kitchen with Jamie Aquino

Wednesday, June 19 from 1:00 pm to 2:30pm: – NEW CLASS
Class: Kids in the Kitchen (Ages 10-13)
Instructor: Jamie Aquino
Description: Does your child love to be in the kitchen? Are they always cooking something new for you to try? Sign up your young chef for an afternoon with Jamie where they’ll learn how to craft dishes like Chinese Kung Pao Tofu Lettuce Wraps, Gourmet Totchos, and for dessert, Short Stacks Dressed in Chocolate & Cream. Your child will learn about using healthy whole foods, their nutritional value, and why eating nutrient dense foods help grow strong, healthy bodies.
Allergy Warning: some recipes will contain nuts, gluten, and dairy
Safety Requirements: student should be comfortable cooking with a live flame stovetop and handling sharp knives and tools. Liability Release must be signed by parent or legal guardian in person, before class.
Note to Parents: Please plan on dropping your child off at 12:45pm and picking them up promptly at 2:30pm. Parents are welcome to stay and shop but are kindly asked not to enter the kitchen area during the class. Thank you!

*Presentation Style Classes include: Printed recipes, class-room style instruction with visual screens,
Q & A time, and good-sized samples of food.

*Hands-On Style Classes include: Smaller class size, more personal instruction, actual participation in some of the preparation, printed recipes, Q & A time, and food sampling. Hurry – Classes fill up fast. Please call to register!
